Looking for a motel?
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

Comfortable bed and very friendly reception staff. Spotlessly clean room. Good selection of tea choices in the room. Lots of free parking. Iron and ironing board if that floats your boat.

The Jolly Brewers was in a great location, with free parking. The room was basic, but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Adam, who ran the pub and the accommodation, was very friendly and worked tirelessly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a shame that the pub didn't serve food, but there was an ample choice of beers and cider and a good beer garden. Being so close to the town, there was a huge variety of pubs and restaurants within a short walk.

We have stayed here many times now coming to London. It has a motel feel with just 6 bedrooms in the car park attached to the pub. Facilities are basic but rooms are clean with plenty of space and beds are very comfortable. Approx 10 mins walk from train station

Excellent value for money , 8 mins on train from Stanstead airport- we stay here regularly now on our London visits. My husband is 20 mins on train then to Tottenham Hotspur stadium and it’s 40 mins for me to Liverpool Street to access central London. The pub is a quintessential olde English country pub with 6 bedrooms that are adjacent to the building in the car park , like a motel style. Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance

The location was great and the small town is beautiful. The small main street is beautiful and we had some very good coffee and food there.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town (behind Tescos) and surprisly quiet. So much space for two of us - you can swing a cat or two! It's brilliant to have a washing machine and fridge too. Nicole is very responsive - even on a Sunday (bless her) to help resolve wifi issues. And on our first stay she quickly addressed a problem with the shower. Top marks, Nicole! PLUS we got free parking when I asked Tescos nicely 😀

Room 6: 2 twin beds with plenty of room for my Mum who is very disabled. For those who can manage it, their is a bath in the large bathroom. Wardrobe & drawers in room. Complimentary tea & coffee which is refilled upon request at no extra cost. Free parking & parking a "must have". Staff friendly & very helpful. Room spotless! Highly recommended & will most definately use again. Thank you Jolly Brewers from the bottom of my heart :)
