Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
A bit strange place to stay but good for one night. There is free parking on the street. Tram station is close. Good instruction from host how to enter the building but there wasnt picture of the apartment door itself.
We have overnighted only so, comfortable beds and shower were the most important. But we took a walk to the center, which is approximately 20 minutes. We were also afraid that parking could be a disaster but fortunately found the free parking place few steps from the entrance (hotel also suggested the garage for 14,5 per day but height limitations didn’t allow us to park there).
We arrived at 5am after driving from Ukraine with passengers and pets going to the Uk. We were all exhausted after being on the road for two days and although our checkin wasn’t until 2pm these amazing staff rearranged and let us in so we could all rest and they were honestly just brilliant. So happy to help us. We left early next morning at 5am they arranged takeaway breakfast for us and went over and above to make sure our stay was really as pleasant as possible.
Rooms are spacious, though last year I got a superior room and it was slightly better in terms of confort. The bathroom is a bit old, but it is functional (I guess the bathtub is useless nowadays and a large shower would be better).
Breakfast is amazing, full of choice and pretty good coffee, too.
