Not impressed by the breakfast. Could have been better quality and selection. We didn’t go everyday because of that. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They did all they could to make us feel welcome and sorted out any of our problems immediately. Definitely 5star service. We appreciated having laundry facilities on the premises. The room was a good size. A comfy chair would have been a welcome addition. Good coffee available in the room.
No 5 is a magnificent old house, and the current owners have made it beautiful, still authentic yet tastefully stylish and incredibly comfortable. I could have stayed for much longer, helped by the onsite laundry option after days on the road.
Breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with great company, the owners are a delight and I highly recommend staying here. There are self catering options and lovely opportunities to enjoy a drink on the back verandah enjoying the view over the river.
The location was good! Decent size room! Love staying at Motel 6’s because of the pet friendliness.
