Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
I liked the funky aspect of the motel. I also appreciated the lovely view from my window. The staff person was very thoughtful and kind. She gave us two choices of rooms and showed us both. She also helped with some restaurant choices.
Unlike most large chains, this place actually caters to their clients.
I have never been disappointed with the motel, staff or cleanliness of the rooms.
I would recommend this establishment to all travellers.
This was an unplanned stop as we changed our plans due to the wildfires and smoke.
This is a rather basic motel but set in attractive grounds overlooking the Scout Island Nature Reserve and quite a lot of industrial scenery.
There was a 9 hole golf putting mini course, free for residents. We did not try it.
Helpful and cheerful staff.
NB interesting local indigenous history museum and tourist information in stunning new building nearby. Attractive small Downtown. The usual TV, fridge, microwave oven, etc. Few electric sockets.
The view of the lake is really pretty. It was our first time to stop in Williams Lake. We enjoyed reading about the history, and the setting of the motel is perfect. Our room was cleaned well, but time and heavy use has take a toll.
Nice outlook from raised position of motel. The beds were comfortable. Furnishings were older and showing signs of age, but it was perfectly fine for those people traveling on a limited budget. Host in reception was lovely to talk to. Excellent parking with mini golf on site, which is ideal if traveling with teenagers. The rooms were clean.
Clean motel rooms with lots of sugar, creamer, etc. Staff was very welcoming and able to offer dinner suggestions. Close to highway but quiet as we were down a bank.
