Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Exterior of motel is deceptive of the interior. It has apparently been upgraded including recently painted outside

Central location. Modern room with a great view of city. Good wifi. Lots of electric points. Despite variable reviews, parking was easy & good (Brunswick Square car park on Union Street, get ticket, pay at hotel reception). Free bottle water. Good coffee machine. Great brew pubs all nearby - Picaroons, Big Tide, Wasted Day.
This is a charming and spacious house centrally located within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The room is exceedingly comfortable and clean. Dooreena provides a healthy and delicious breakfast and packs home made treats for you to take on the road.
Bed was small but comfortable. Quiet location with nice bar to eat at and shops nearby. Free parking at back of house. Clear instructions to enter house and lock box for room key. No problem using WiFi.
Great service and rooms are great. Easy to get to and free parking and breakfast. Rooms are very well set up and equipped. The front desk service is exceptional.
We liked everything except the pillows, too thin, gave me a headache, and the toilet ran the whole time we were there, the employees were the best that I ever encountered, they were very polite and helpful, I have stayed at a lot of motels and they were the best, very helpful. Unfortunately the air conditioner was noisy, but that probably is the same in every room. The breakfast was great as well, no complaints about the food or employees.
