All staff members from the check-in person to the room cleaners were very kind and friendly.
The location was beautiful, with a view of the river, and the grounds are well kept with a nice playground area and barbecues for guest use. I like that the motel has a rule about everyone being quiet after 11:00pm.
We came by Bicycle to Pines Motel and it was raining that day. We were soaked! The owner provided us with a place to store our bikes, give us extra towels to clean up. As there were no restaurants open in the area he then offered to drive us to North Rustico to a great restaurant, Pedro's, and picked us up after dinner. He went above and beyond for us.
Excellent base to explore PEI with free parking. 1 bedroom was perfect for a family with a full kitchen that was fully equipped with everything we needed and had new full size fridge, stove and microwave. Beds were comfortable with lovely quilts. Heated Pool was so refreshing after sightseeing. There were outdoor games as well as a bonfire pit. Setting was so relaxing I did not want to leave this haven.
Larry was very friendly and approachable. The heated pool was very fun to enjoy. Other staffs were very nice and friendly. The motel was very clean, noise free. Beautiful view to enjoy while sitting on the patio.
This place is a hidden gem. Regardless of being a motel, the rooms are all recently renovated to a very high standard, and our room was tasteful and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to help us with tourist information and are very hospitable. The location is absolutely gorgeous.... I almost don't want to share this secret but I must!
