The location was far enough away from the highway so as not to be noisy, yet close enough to be convenient to walk to nearby businesses (grocery stores, department stores, and clothing stores). It was also close to the only crosswalk on the highway which connects to the footpath to walk downtown (motel to downtown was a 40 minute leisurely walk downhill). Unit was clean, had A/C, free wifi, and cable TV.
