Very nicely modernized older property with a caring and friendly owner. Rooms are small but entirely functional and comfortable. Bathroom was especially well done, and the remainder of the room was excellent. Nice grounds on the property that the owner cares for and maintains well. Very pleasant stay at this location. Definitely recommend it and we will return to this property when we are in North Bay.

Clean, quiet, and close to dinner/breakfast restaurants, Lakeshore Suites has easy access to all major highways, a shopping centre, and gas stations. I especially liked the walk-in, sit-down shower - without a tub, there was no danger of slipping. Overall, it was ideal for me, a solo traveller on a motorcycle.

For a Travelodge, really appreciated that they made hot scrambled eggs instead of just cold boiled eggs, and also had fresh waffles you could make as well as fruit options, yogurt, cereals, bread options, & sausage as well as juice options, coffee & tea available. Breakfast was a welcome, pleasant surprise! Our room had a small fridge to keep cold drinks and keep our food cold for our canoe-trip the following days. Nice landscaping at entry which we could view from the breakfast room too! All the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful!

The staff and owners were very nice. The room was clean. The pool was nice. The location was perfect.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
This is a nice little motel with very friendly owners. The room was clean. We stayed in the executive suite, which has a kitchenette. Having a window that opens in the bedroom and the AC in the living room was nice - the AC is noisy, but it is not in the same room you sleep. WiFi was mostly good. The kitchenette has a toaster and a kettle, as well as a microwave and a coffee maker. Would stay again.
For the price this little motel was awesome.
We were expecting a real dive type motel for this price in northbay but was very surprised when we rolled in and opened the doors. Clean comfortable beds and amazing ac units
This is our second time staying at this motel. There is an amazing beach area. A lot has been done since our last visit. Beach area upgraded and fire pits and chairs have been added. Our room had some work done but still needs work. Room was clean but had a musty smell. Great water pressure in the shower. Room was quiet and easy to get a great sleep. We will continue to visit this motel and look forward to seeing the upgrades as they continue to work on it.
The hotel is new, bright and clean. The room was in good shape, clean and comfortable. Hotel was easy to find and has plenty of free parking. Wifi worked well.
Staff were eager to accommodate. Left my phone outside on window ledge night of check inn, Was obv gone by morning.(not one of my smoother moments!) Motel employees went above and beyond next AM reviewing camera footage to get it back for me! Was almost 100 it was gone after being left overnight in the downtown area so needless to say I was pretty happy. Having security on site was definitely reassuring.
The motel is very close to the main highway making it a perfect option for overnight stay. We had a room with 2 queen beds which comfortably fit 3 people. The room had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Highly recommend this place if you're planning a stop around this area.
