Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Wifi, air conditioning and clean are a must have when I book a hotel/motel. We got that plus everything I want in a room. The room was set up nicely. There was a table and lamp on each side of the bed. Lighting was good. A wall mirror in bedroom plus over the sink. The sink was outside the toilet area. Table and two chairs. Comfortable bed.
There were numerous resturants and other stores close by.
Staff who checked us in was fast friendly and efficient.
We were looking for a “motel” style as we were travelling with our dog. This fit the bill. Although the motel was a little dated, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, fridge and coffee maker available. We were pulling a trailer and there was room to park it within view of the room. Other guests were able to park in front of their rooms. Restaurant on site. McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, A&W and Tim Hortons all within walking distance.
Old motel which had been renovated. Reasonably priced. Our room was set back from the road so it was surprisingly quiet given the location near the railway.
