Located in Vancouver’s Harbour City, The Spot offers free WiFi and is within walking distance to a coin-operated launderette. This property is a 1.5 km drive from Nanaimo city centre.

The booking advertisement mentions about kitchenette stove, which is not the case. We were provided a hotplate and they also provided some pots and basic cutlery items. The room was neat to start with but a bit too tight.

The motel was as I expected a motel to be, but a little closer to downtown than I'd expected. I did make sure to leave nothing in my car overnight. The front desk was friendly and helpful, and I think the value for the money was fine.

This was my third stay at Harbour Lights for medical reasons. The room we were in appeared to be recently renovated and everything we needed for a comfortable and affordable stay was provided. The staff was excellent as well. Thank You Harbour Lights Motel. We will be staying again for medical reasons.

The location of this motel is ideal. You're no more than 5 minutes from everything you need. A quick and easy drive from the ferry terminal, great beaches, the downtown core, easy access to shops, and restaurants. But, the best part of this stay was the staff. I have honestly never met friendlier and more welcoming staff at a hotel. They couldn't do enough for you and make sure our stay was to our needs.
