Canada's Best Value Inn Mile-0-Motel Lillooet exceeded our expectations. This older motel has had a lot of updates. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed and bedding were most comfortable, coffee and lots of drink cups were provided. The fridge with freezer and air conditioner worked very well. Location was central and quiet.
The motel was just what we needed after a long car journey and although we didn't need 2 beds, it was nice to have plenty of space to spread out in. The bathroom was a good size and I even had time for a bath which was an added bonus.
The - a presume - new owners really take care of the place. All has been refurbished and repainted. Looks fresh, even for an old motel. The room was cozy and affordable. We don't need much, and this perfectly suits our needs.
This was a traditional style motel, with sparklingly clean and bright large ensuite room. - Though the size was partly because there was not much furniture (see below). Very comfortable wide bed and excellent a/c unit - lucky, as we were there in a very hot spell.
There was a laundry in the basement.
It was run with big smiles and efficiency by a busy Chinese family.
Good location on the main street.
Stayed for one night. We requested a quiet room, with shower, and this is what we got in a room was at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly, we had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which was good value. Yes, the hotel is old fashioned, however, it is what you see and is perfectly functional. Plenty of free parking.
At least the bed and bathtub were clean, not much more positive to say about this motel. They need to spend some money on new flooring and mattresses, urgently!
Great for an overnight or two stay.... Didn't expect the train running through behind the property at 2 a.m. in the morning. But when you know that, it's okay. The motel is super clean and well kept. Located to everything in town.
