The motel was recently renovated, the room was very clean and quiet. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, they offer help with our luggage and provided us with a recommendation for a breakfast place as well as a 10 per cent discount coupon.

I really liked the cozy bed and warm blankets. I had brought a spare blanket because i'm sometimes cold in hotels/motels.
I didn't have any interaction with staff so couldn't answer that question above. But door was left open and much appreciated.
The motel has been completely redone with new bathrooms, flooring to curtains. Everything is fresh and well appointed. The woman who greeted us could not have been nicer and went that extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed.
The Lakeview motel is a classic. We used to come here when my grandparents stayed (+20 years ago). Tara and Jason have done a wonderful job upgrading everything for a more modern stay. I love the gazebo area, the neighbors were quiet and friendly (I hope to see them again next year). My family has a permanent site at a campsite down the road but I thought it was easier to stay here with all the amenities with a baby. A full kitchen unit was very handy!
