Great location with free parking nearby, awesome appartment exactly as shown in the pictures with huuuge bed, balcony and kitchenette. Everything was extremely clean and tidy. There was everything we needed in the flat: cutlery and kitchen stuff.
The hotel and its annex buildings are in the very centre of Bastogne, within walking distance to shops, museums, bars and restaurants. There is free parking at the rear of the main hotel. Our room was very spacious with 3 single beds and had spectacular views across the main square. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and the room was clean.
Excellent location right on the Square of Bastogne. Free parking at the rear of the hotel. Excellent choice from buffet breakfast, bit pricey, but excellent quality. Ideal base for walking to the WW11 museums and memorials. Plenty of Cafes, bars, restaurants within easy reach by foot.
Very pleased with the value for the money. Initially concerned that the motel was co-located with a service station and cafe, but not an issue. Modern. spacious, comfortable rooms located on the back of the building so it was quiet. Parking was secure. Good breakfast. Proprietor & staff went out of her way to accommodate you. Eating options immediately downstairs, next door or a short walk/drive to the main square.
We had been in a traffic jam for a while but the worker accepted our time and has been very kind to explain how everything worked. The car has been parked in front of the motel. The room was clean and looked very wel. We slept great in the comfortable beds. We also took breakfast , 8 euro a person which was also fine for us.
We didn't know where we would overnight so when we decided on Bastogne, I choose Hotel Melba due to the breakfast being included, free parking (on the road outside) and being near the town centre. The room was clean and a good size and the breakfast good and just a 2 minute walk into the town square so it was a perfect stop over in a town that has lots of WW2 history
