We loved our stay here in Stanley. the location great and the facilities met all our expectations. Breakfast provisions fresh and tasty got us off to a good start each day. The extras (port and chocolates in the lounge area on our return in the evening) and tips on where to go, where to find good coffee etc was helpful. We were in a cabin for the first 2 nights and then a motel room for the 3 rd night - accommodation was excellent and in a great spot - Management were friendly and accommodating and looked after our bike for a week - nothing was too much trouble
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in one of the motel rooms, which was perfect for one night. The holiday park overall has a well run, as well as relaxed, feel.
Cable station was in a great location a couple of kilometres outside Stanley. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were nice and warm both having their own bathrooms. There was a fireplace in the main lounge which was a nice touch. The kitchen was well appointed and great for those who want to prepare their own meals. We were stunned to see penguins on the road back to Cable Station at night from Stanley, so drive carefully!
The motel style room was perfect and warm. The bed was comfortable and the camp kitchen was close so we could cook meals at night. Walking distance to everything
