The house was warm and cosy and we were able to cook for ourselves. We prefer a cottage over a hotel or motel room. Loved the huge backyard but unfortunately not the weather to sit out on the deck.

It was a surprise to find the cluster of private rooms hiding in a heritage garden. Our room was similar to a motel room with views into the garden and lounge chairs to relax in to view the garden from the comfort of the room. Tables and chairs as easy chairs in the garden also allowed us to experience being in the garden. Close to town, shops, rail trail. Parking on site. Basic cooking facilités and table and chairs enabled us to eat in.
