The host was very friendly. Seems like a family run motel. My room was small (I booked a cheaper room on line) bu tit had everything that I needed for 1 night, including fridge, microwave, cutlery, shower products, lots of power points etc. It looked to have been renovated recently so flooring, tiles in bathroom etc. were in good condition. There was lots of hot water and strong pressure which was welcomed after a long drive. There was air con but I didn't use it. As advertised it was 10 minutes walk to the beach or the city. There was a popular fish and chip shop as well as a pizza shop less than 5 mins walk away and within sight of the front door.

Quiet, clean, comfortable and great value for money. Nice hot shower, fridge full of tea, coffee, and water. Was a very comfortable night - definitely recommend this little motel.
The lady in the motel reception stayed open waiting for us, travelling from QLD, which was lovely. It was basically across the road from a really good pub, Settlers Inn, which served great meals.

The room has been recently been refurbished. Excellent, clean and comfortable. Looks like they are upgrading rooms first then the outside of the motel. I am glad we booked here.
For a motel it was absolutely beyond what I expected. Super nice two bedroom with a loungeroom and bath. All lovely facilities, super easy to check in and out.
I even appreciated the little touch of having washing up liquid to be able to have our dishes nice and clean as we stayed for two nights.
It was a tidy motel room carpark right in front of the unit, bathroom facilities were quite nice and bright. Check-in process was great if you arrive late, the managers really understand motel-type guests situation (often arriving late while on the road), unlike other motels that make it really hard if you arrive late.
There is a guest Kitchen which is unusual for a motel. We were able to cook a hot meal which was appreciated after a long day on the road. The facilities in the Kitchen are dated and not all work and/or were not really clean. A little update and deep clean would give it a whole new life.
The motel is situated at quiet area, I had off street parking. The room was clean and tidy, usually motel quality and standard. Friendly owner. A good coffee machine outside reception area.
