Great clean and modern bathroom and good bedding and amenities. Heaps of storage and dinnerware, microwave and fridge etc. Quiet area and a good starting point to various destinations. Check in and check out were smooth going and will gladly stay there again.

Jeannie the hostess is an amazing person. I had originally booked online but needed to extend my stay. I called Jeannie greeted me warmly and told me to come on over! I'm from the US and my adapter didn't work. She lent me one and an iPhone charger I needed the lightning port instead of the USB I had! She also offered an umbrella on one rainy day. What a genuinely sweet woman! When I asked for advice about restaurants and nearby attractions, without hesitation she jotted names and numbers down and gave amazing verbal directions as well. After the first two nights I checked out to fly to Sydney for five days. Again without hesitation she allowed me to store my large suitcase in the luggage room. When I returned late in the evening for the remaining days of my stay at the Box Hill Motel I figured I would need to wait till the next morning to retrieve the case, but low and behold, there it was in my new room along with the borrowed electrical adapter! <3
I was sad to leave. An unwelcoming hostess can put a damper on a vacation. How fortunate I was to land here and would recommend this lovely place to anyone.

All rooms and toilets are clean and very spacious with dining tables. The family room is especially spacious and ample bed for 4. There are extra pillows in the wardrobe. This is an older motel building, but the toilets are updated and modern. There's tea/coffee/sugar/cookies, kettle and microwave. There's ample facial tissues and toilet tissues. It met our basic needs of clean bedding and toilet for restful night. Our overseas guests find the rooms clean. Location is closed to halal eateries and Mt Dandenong attractions.

Staff person 'Chris' extremely helpful & polite. We were given a room towards the back as we requested (to avoid traffic noise from the highway). Motel close to bus & train. Bathroom had been updated. It was reasonably clean for such an old room.
Breakfast wasn’t included, but that was okay, I didn’t need to order it as I had brought some food with me. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well, the shower was great, lots of hot water. The microwave oven worked well, so did the fridge. Tea and coffee were provided, and there were cups, glasses and some plates. And some tea towels too. Soap and shampoo were provided, so were shower caps, no other motel or hotel has ever provided that for me before.
