It was the Oct long weekend. Ideally I would have liked to stay in Wallsend but the hotel in Wallsend didn't take bookings for one night stay.
It meant cheaper accomm and 11 minutes drive each way.
It was clean, breakfast was good and the room was big.

I was unable to utilised the initial room they gave me and the staff has no issue in accomodating me to a room that didn’t have a bath. The location is central as well, and free parking!
Best motel I have stayed in…super comfortable bed with large soft pillows…was given an upgrade to deluxe queen room & very pleased with room being nicely renovated. Free parking which is a bonus.
Old school motel but completely and tastefully refurbished with the convenience of your car at your door. Perfect for one night stop for traveler’s on the road.

Amazing location, walkable to everything including stunning beaches one way, the city centre in the other direction, and Harris Farm markets with good coffee just over the road. Great to have a free parking spot on site. The building is very simple and not fancy, but this is reflected in the listing photos and price which is great value. Inside the flat everything is clean and tidy and worked as expected.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Exceeded my expectation for a motel. Very close to supermarket and a few restaurants nearby. A lot of free parking spaces as well.
