New bathroom, comfortable new bed, lovely and clean room. Everything you would want in a motel. Looked a bit like a jail cell as we walked up to our bank of rooms but opened up to a lovely light filled room when you went inside.
Loved the quiet air cond. Kept the room warm in very cool conditions. Staff had room pre-warmed on arrival which was greatly appreciated. Motel was very full but couldn't hear other guests or the use of facilities. Was much better than I expected for the price. Had desk and even an office chair.
I was in Mt Gambier supporting someone in hospital. This was the perfect home base so close to hospital.
Blue Lake Motel is a cozy place to spend an overnight at Mt Gambier. The budget triple room was clean and tidy. The glass door fridge was new and with big capacity. Thanks for the free biscuits.
A comfortable traditional motel. A comfortable smaller room with a very useful set of amenities. A well maintained and clean space with a good bathroom and hot water supply. The bed was firm but comfortable. The air-conditioning kept the space warm on a very cold day.
This motel was located near to attractions (blue lake, umberston sink hole) and grocery stores etc. Reception desk staff member was very helpful and friendly. Free parking in front of our room.
Location was great and close to dining options. There were also groceries and other shops nearby. Good coffee options too. I would come back to Mt Gambier, possibly this motel if they fixed things.
The motel did not offer a full breakfast so I went to the hotel on the corner and got a great breakfast with good coffee for under $20. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room had a microwave. The location could not be better for someone wanting a central position.
