Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
We stayed in a motel room which only had a kettle so we tried to use camp kitchen but it didn’t have power. Had to ask someone to connect power, same thing happened in the morning.
We've stayed here before and love the location as its so close to Bitter Springs. The bar/restaurant is great. The food is excellent and the staff are welcoming and happy. The campsites are great (although we stayed in the motel rooms on this occation). The rooms are rammed earth and stay cool during the heat of the day.
Really pleased with our stay here! It wasn’t one of the big 2 accom options we had heard about but in fact so glad we stayed at this one (we visited one of the others the next day and thought it felt the nicest!). Super easy check in after hours, food was great with nice vibes.
Lovely modern bathroom in our family cabin. Overall exceeded our expectations and close proximity both springs/pools!
I think ‘motel’ sells it short, feels more like a holiday park! They should market it more that way :)
This motel room pleasantly surprised me. Most of the walls appeared mudbrick in creation, with a touch of corrugated iron at the bed head. The room was a nice, comfortable size.
The rammed earth motel rooms were lovely. Being set back from the highway meant they were quiet. Beds were comfortable. Having access to the camper's kitchen was handy for making breakfast. The meals we ate at the restaurant were very tasty.
Renovated bathroom in our cabin, great staff, good bar and some bonus live music on the night we stayed. Good atmosphere. Good coffee and bacon and egg muffin available in the morning. Camping laundry available.
Perfect motel, comfortable and clean rooms, delicious food, and very friendly and helpful hosts/owners 😀
