This older motel offers travellers comfortable and affordable accommodation. We stayed two nights whilst attending a family function and stayed in the Spa Suite which was spacious and at the rear of the motel and we were not bothered much by the noise of road traffic or trains. The location was good, right on the highway and an easy walk into the heart of Blackheath.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Major renovation going on. Remodelling just about every thing. Motel is still viable. Cont. Breaky still on. No electric blankets. Aircon. Not working to it's best.

The Lurline cottage was in a great position. Close to the RSL for a well priced dinner and just across the road from a good coffee shop. Plenty of room for a family of six. The cottage also had great heating which we appreciated as it was very cold in Katoomba in July
It's a nice motel. The room has been recently renovated so everything was fresh. We enjoyed our stay, slept well and were in the best location for walks and scenery.
