The breakfast was fine but basic. Cereal tea and toast and juice. The bed was comfortable.The owner was very helpful and friendly. the gardens were nice and the motel was close to the main shopping centre and easy to find.

We stayed at The Amalfi as a short one day stay. We were looking for an alternative accommodation to a cheap motel. What we got was a beautiful updated clean room. It was cosy, although a little on the small side, but considering the price it looked much nicer than your average motel. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean, the bathroom looked updated and also clean. Only thing missing for us was a small bar fridge and a kettle in the room; as I like to have a tea before going to bed without having to leave the room. The communal area was elegant and warm, although a little dark (but I assume that was the ambiance they were going for). Personally not somewhere I would stay for longer than 2 days as the room was quite small and I can get rather claustrophobic (although you could use the communal areas if you don't want to stay in your room), but definitely a great choice for a quick stay.

When l made the booking l forgot to ask for a ground floor room due to my sister's health issue. So when l checked in I realised we had an upstairs room booked. I went back in and spoke to reception and asked if we could get a ground floor room due to my sister's issue. The lady at reception was lovely and without hesitation got me a ground floor room. Great customer service and great room. Thank you.

The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
The room was warm (they left the heater on), the bed was very large and comfy, the little couch was cute and lost of space for a hotel/motel room. Loved the little touches like the free chips and twistes and little chocolate as well as the free water. Everything was spotless including the bathroom which had lovel Salus shampoo, conditioner and soap and crisp white towels.
The place was in a great location, it was super clean, the bed was very comfortable. Definitely the best bathroom I’ve seen in a motel. It was fantastic. Everything was spotless.
Motel was (as name suggests) centrally localed in Daylesford. Parking was easy and reception staff (owner?) very friendly and helpful. Room was well appointed, cosy with all we needed for our stay.
Very pleasantly surprised by our stay at The Daylesford Art Motel. The room was spacious, very clean, well appointed and quiet. Very comfortable bed with crisp white sheets. Fabulous shower with Salus toiletries supplied. Tea & coffee making facilities and a couple of sweet treats supplied were an added bonus. Parking right outside and well located across the road from the Farmer's arms. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
We booked for 3 nights and extended by another 3. We were very happy with everything about the Art Motel. Large room, very comfortable bed, bathroom met all our expectations. Little things like drink bottles, packet of munchies at no cost. We would certainly stay again
Located on the outskirts of Daylesford, this motel exceeded our expectations of what a motel has to offer. It was really well furnished-attractive and comfortable, the bathroom was large and we loved the artwork. It’s across the road from the Fagners Arms hotel which has fabulous food and a lovely atmosphere.
