Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
We chose this motel for the parking right outside our room and the attractive price. The room was very clean, spacious, with a well equipped kitchenette, private patio and the free breakfast delivered to our room an added treat. The use of a laundry was handy too. The location between Mindil beach and the Esplanade was perfect. I would definitely recommend.
Hotel is in a great location on the waterfront, close to restaurants and cafes. The onsite pool is lovely and private while giving you a view of the waterfront. The onsite restaurant was convenient for breakfast for early tour pick-ups and had good coffee. It was only a 10-minute walk across the skybridge to get into Smith Street or to the pier for cruises and more restaurants.
The manager and her son were extremely helpful, very helpful and attentive!
The room was basic and a bit worn, yet everything worked (lights, shower, fridge etc).
The bed was very comfy.
Comparing prices, location and value for money with other hotels/motels it is the one to choose.
Location was excellent. Central to everything in Darwin. Free parking with the booking huge bonus. The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and just a great vibe in both greeting us and checking out.
The cafe and Zen Bar on 16th floor were great to have in the building. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks for checking in online. The views from the roof top bar are lovely and the free nibbles were appreciated. Our living area in the apartment was a good size and the balcony overlooking the harbour was terrific. Free parking also was appreciated.
The free shuttle to Mindil Beach Sunset Markets was also a lovely service.
Very good value for money. Good location with free parking. Rooms are typical motel fare but very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was a simple affair but did the trick.
