It was quiet. You could hear some highway traffic noise, but it was fine. The room was clean, but I have concerns about the bed linens.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

Old style motel, The location was great for our overnight stop between Sydney and Perisher. We arrived at midnight and the room was left open for us and the heater was on so it was lovely and warm.
Location within easy walking distance to central business district. On arrive given free room upgrade, which was exceptional clean and comfortable. Will definitely add Cooma Motor Lodge Motel to my list of motels to stay at when motoring up and down Monaro Highway.
Dave was really flexible and helpful when I needed to change my booking dates at the last minute. I always stay at the Cooma Motor Lodge Motel and always happy!
