On arrival Monica was very friendly and efficient. After entering our room I found the tv not working so called reception, and got a prompt response. An upgrade to another room was offered and accepted.. Room was very comfortable.

This is the second time I have stayed at Red Waratah and won't be the last. The rooms are so beautifully appointed, the bed and linens are lovely and comfortable and having both a couch and dining table in the room gives lots of seating space and flexibility. The bathrooms are super clean with lovely toiletries. The heating/cooling is great and the rooms are really quiet. A little drive out of main Bendigo, but that's what I love it for. No noise and its conveniently close by car to the main town. Great facilities for the kitchen, tea and coffee supplies, toaster and microwave and nice sized fridge. Great value for money. Super easy check in/out.

Quirky, retro motel. Exactly as pictured and expected. Pricing and location is excellent. Traffic during the day is noisy and busy but at night, its non-existent. Definitely recommend staying here.

The swimming pool was a must-have, especially as it was 38C the day we arrived, and as promised it was easily reached from our ground floor room. The Hotel Motel is close to the Talking Tramways Tour which we took the next day. Because the Hotel has a dining room, all we had to do to enjoy dinner was walk a few metres. (Highly recommend the roast veggie salad with added chicken, and cheesecake for dessert.) The modern bathroom was fully tiled. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay with immaculate clean amenities. Spacious rooms and cutlery. Parking was just off the room and the location of the motel is just right too, near the CBD.

Only gave 8 stars because it sounded like a freight train was idling in my room all night, which I’m guessing were heater fans/exhausts from surrounding rooms.
Right from the start the lady at the front desk was very accommodating and very welcoming.Room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable.The motel is right on the main street and close to all food stores and take away.Traffic noise wasn't an issue.My room was nice and warm due to the lady already prepared my room for my arrival I thought that was a lovely thought as a guest.Will definitely be back again to stay at this lovely motel.Thanks :)
The room is a really good size with good appliances all provided. We had a room upstairs (as I requested). Room11 which is at the front of the motel. Good view out the front. It is the main thoroughfare through Bendigo so it is very busy road but easy to find. No problems with free parking, right at our room. Good TV. Bed comfy. Easy access via stairs. And you are walking distance to fast food or restaurants should you want them. Nice place.
My husband and I stayed here on Friday night after attending the Elvis Presley Exhibition. The motel was spotless, the beds so comfortable, continental breakfast delivered the night before and was fresh and appetizing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They directed us to a Malaysian Restaurant which was very helpful as we didn’t know where to have dinner. The restaurant was lovely and the food delicious. Highly recommend Allara Motor Lodge.
Visited the Elvis exhibition at Bendigo Art Gallery. Motel across the road, excellent location for easy walk into city, free parking at unit. Contactless check in & check out, very easy to use. Great room size with extra seating in room. Very comfortable, bed good, a little hard for my liking but comfortable.
