The place was quiet and clean. It's easier to park my car just right in front of the room. The shower pressure was very good. It's very cheap, so everything was good for me. I would definitely book this place again.

Situated between Lake King and the shores of Bancroft Bay, Metung Waters Motel and Apartments is just 2 minutes' walk from the beach, shops and the historic Metung Hotel.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Very clean and affordable, I was surprised how good the rooms were despite of the price, because it was the cheapest motel in town I thought it was bad, but to my surprise this motel was better than the other motel that is more pricey... I definitely recommend this motel

Bairnsdale Main Motel was a very pleasant surprise. The exterior areas are tidy and well cared for and the inside of our unit was clean, well maintained all for an exceptionally good price. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Really, full marks for providing such a great little motel at a reasonable price.
Its an older Motel though the staff were helpful and excellent to deal with, rooms spotless, beds were good, heating excellent, had wifi and foxtel price matched the quality of the rooms could not ask for anymore.
This is my preferred motel when visiting Bairnsdale, having stayed a number of times previously.
The owners and staff are great and very responsive to ensure you have a pleasant stay.
We liked the neat and tidy rooms with adequate space and doors between main and secondary sleeping areas for privacy. There was a bbq in the common area, so we were able to prepare a nice hot dinner after spending a day on the road. The motel is conveniently located in walking distance to groceries and cafés. Would consider this property again for a stopover.
This motel is unpretentious, but perfect for a nights stay. It is clean, the towels are large, clean and of high quality. It is very good value. It is not new, it does not have pool, gym, restaurant; but as a place to spend a night on the road, it met my needs and exceeded expections.
