On the main road with walking access to everything we needed. A great, cost effective place to stay while being in a central position to visit surrounding towns.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Spacious room and large bathroom and self-contained. Parking is very convenient and motel easy to get too and close to major barossa towns.
Good desk and relaxing furniture.
It was like staying in a museum with all the modern conveniences of today.
The breakfast supplies were generous and delicious, and the added bonuses of chocolates, cookies and port were greatly appreciated.
Lovely to have an open fire to curl up in front of on a cold night - the reverse cycle air - con was very efficient too. Lovely to have a washing machine and somewhere to hang it after 6 weeks on the road.
Spacious room which was comfortable and very clean. The Vineyards Motel is in an attractive location and with Farmers Markets on a Saturday, very well located.
The attention to detail. The spare pillows were in protective bags!
We have stayed at a lot of budget motels over the Years and this was by far the best. We could tell a lot of care had Been taken.
The location was awesome, we walked across the road and had the most beautiful dinner at Vitners, then next morning bonus of having breaky at the farmers market also across the road.
The location of the motel is central to the main towns and attractions so that’s fabulous. The staff were friendly, welcoming, interested in providing the best service , visible in a good way and accommodating. The pool and its facilities were close, clean and had both shade and the option of under cover cooking . There were plenty of bins for rubbish and recycling available. It was great to have under cover parking too.
1960s motel about 10 minutes walk from Angaston.
Ate dinner at Vintners Restaurant just across the road.
