Beautifully designed place, lovely terrace, pool area, pretty rooms. Great staff throughout. The game drive was special, too, and the Ranger was a nice guy, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We enjoyed our drive with him very much. Food was also really, really good. Even the breakfast packs (which are usually a bit of a let-down compared to the normal on-site breakfast) were way better than at other accommodations. Great place!

Lions Valley Lodge is situated within the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, home to the Big Five as well as antelope and an abundant birdlife. The lodge features an infinity pool and free WiFi. gorgeous location, beautiful cottages and set up, clean and comfortable and the staff were phenomenal. We felt like honored family. In addition, the food was all fantastic, especially the home made chocolate rusk!

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. We loved the spaciousness of the unit and the fact that it was pet friendly. The yards are also very spacious. We also enjoyed being off the grid and not experiencing loadshedding.

The effort made for a very special family Christmas Day was phenomenal!!!! The food throughout our stay was exceptional!!! The staff were amazing, catering for our every need/request!!! Finally, the game viewing as always was great.

Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room is situated on a gravel road, 5 km from the vilage of Underberg. The estate offers nature trails, riverside pools, picnic spots, decks and viewing areas. It’s amazing views and proximity to the river, as well as how comfortable everything was.

Located 27 km from Ladysmith, Cheetah Ridge Lodge is situated within the Big 5 Nambiti Private Game Reserve, which boasts the Big 5 with a variety of other species and amazing birdlife. Very attentive and friendly staff - a lovely experience! Our game guide, Colin, made sure we saw all the Big six (included hippos) plus many other animals, while providing lots of interesting facts, and hosting tasty morning-risers and sun-downers. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Lots of care and lots of special “extras” - we were well taken care of.

Our stay in Leopard Tree Lodge was a highlight of our trip to SA. Located in St Lucia it provided a perfect base for exploring the area. It was very comfortable and we were very warmly welcomed and looked after by Jean and the rest of the staff. We intend to return and would definitely recommend.
