Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Such a lovely place in the mountains. Everything was great.

The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a shared lounge, African Flair Boutique Safari Lodge offers accommodation in Hoedspruit with free WiFi and mountain views. Staying at African Flair is a wonderful experience and a great place to base yourself to see the attractions of the region. This is one of those rare places where only videos or seeing the lodge in person can fully capture the attention to detail and layout of the lodge, photos just don't do justice to take it all in. The included breakfast is exceptional too and way better than anything you could find elsewhere in town. We don't often post reviews on accommodation that we stay at but this is an exception. Having visited all corners of the globe this is the closest we have seen to a 10/10. The lodge is roomy, well decorated and full of optional extras at your discretion to make your visit even more memorable. If you want to really cap off a memorable visit to the Kruger/Blyde River region, this is definitely the place to stay!

Set in Hazyview, Linvale Country Lodge offers accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, a garden and a shared lounge. Very kindly, helpful, available and the meals were delicious. The place is nice and very near of the access to Kruger. They also make a meal if you are taking a game drive early morning. Really recommended

With garden views, Oase by 7 Star Lodges - Greater Kruger Private 530ha Reserve is located in Hoedspruit and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The staff was very kind! The accommodation was perfect, with a nice private swimming pool and outdoor shower. Very high tech also (remote control of the lights, Sonos Soundsystem, excellent wifi). Each house is isolated from the rest of the domain. The program is very flexible
