The space itself is brilliantly decorated. The cottages are clean and in good condition.

I can’t say enough about this place and how wonderful it was. It’s a great place to get away from the chaos of the cities while keeping you close to Cat Ba city. For us the best thing about this accommodation was the family running it. Linda and her family are the sweetest, most amazing people ever. It doesnt feel like they are running a business, it feels like you are going to their home and that's how they treated us. We are traveling with our 1 year old baby, and we also got sick mid-way through our stay. We have felt so incredibly taken care of, and Linda went out of her way to help us with anything we may have needed. We are are really really thankful and appreciate everything so so much! We rented a bigger house 3 min walking from the main area, with the pool and the restaurant, and the yard we had was great!

Located in Cat Ba National Park, Viet Hai Lan Homestay provides accommodation with free Wifi, air conditioning and access to the garden. All rooms features garden and mountain views. We loved everything about our week-long stay at Lan Homestay. The location was perfect for us to explore the village on a scooter/motorbike (which they have available for rent). It's in a quiet neighborhood on a hill, which is located in hidden valley. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowering plants, and jackfruit trees that make the property feel like an eco-resort. The staff works tirelessly to keep everything in perfect condition - everyone seemed to be working around the clock. The included breakfast was very good — with a choice of a beverage and a choice of food and always served with a plate of fresh fruit. We also enjoyed a couple of other meals there and everything we ordered was delicious. Most of all our host, Mr. Chilly was everything you could ask for in a great host. He was super-friendly and assisted us with anything we needed from providing suggestions for things to do in Cat Ba to arranging travel for us back to our Hanoi . We would highly recommend Lan Homestay and will stay here again next time we come to Cat Ba.
