The staff were exceptional at the Bluestone Lodge, they were friendly and very accomodating - helping use get sorted with a motorbike for the Ha Giang loop!
This place is a hidden gem for sure. The views are incredible and the atmosphere is so peaceful. It’s a great place to go to escape after the busy Hanoi. We want to give special recognition to Tung/Cady for his kindness and the amazing hike he took us on. The Ecolodge organised a private full day hike to local villages through rice terraces and we got lunch provided by a local family. We felt extremely welcome here and would definitely recommend this place.

This lodge is located just 5 minutes outside of Dong Van in the quiet outskirts. If you're looking for a party, place this is not for you. But if you're looking for a beautifully constructed and rustic property with a great family running it, you're in luck. The H'mong style building is gorgeous. The rooms are simple and clean with comfortable beds and hot water. The family dinner and happy water was great with nice beef pho for breakfast. This is a peaceful place to enjoy your time.

Really nice place with truly great people! Joseph is our beloved host, he took us for a trek and a two day motorbike tour around Ha giang loop. We had an amazing time with him, lots of laughing, good food, great moments. The ecolodge itself is beautiful, confortable, with respect for the environment. Food is delicious too! The homestay was wonderful! The host was kind and hospitable, and the place was fresh and spotless. I enjoyed the pool and the billiards a lot. The wooden house was unique and cozy. It was also close to the bus station, which was handy. I highly recommend it!
Lovely place and wooden house with very friendly owner. They can do a very nice dinner for you if you wish. Also invited us for a drink of homemade alcohol “happy water”, so there s nothing what I could complain about. Ideal for people who wants to get rest from city.
