Located on Penobscot Bay, this Belfast motel is 1.4 miles from Moose Point State Park. It features a private beach area and each accommodation boasts a private seaside patio or balcony.
Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are available in every cheery room and cottage. The cottages include kitchenette facilities at Colonial Gables Oceanfront Village. Each offers views of Penobscot Bay.
We stayed in the motel rather than one of the lodges and it was a spotlessly clean and spacious room.
The bed was massive and very comfortable.
Bathroom was also spotless with lashings of hot water and good quality toiletries.
The grounds of the property sweep down to the beach and all rooms have a terrace with sea view.

Abbot Village

Best motel we ever stayed at; unfortunately, the cabins were sold out. Cabins looked amazing.

This cute retro motor lodge sits on the main highway just outside the village of Bar Harbor. This makes it an easy walk to town through beautiful scenery, so no need to find parking in this ama ing coastal setting. The room was redone to a cool modern vibe Clean and comfortable!!! It was a pleasant stay near great attractions of Acadia NO and all it offers.
Very nice lodge up on the hill with a great view of the harbor. Very nice spacious room, very clean. Full hot breakfast much like Hampton Inns do. Super nice, if a little pricier than we would have liked.
The Lodge at Turbat Creek is very clean, quiet place. Friendly staff. We loved the pool and the pool side cabanas were perfect. It's kid friendly and the price was right too. We highly recommend this lodge.
The lodge was within 5 minutes driving to everything. Our room was clean and very large. We loved being close to the office for easy access to the cookies, coffee and lemon water! We didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool but it looked very inviting, as well.
The decor is beautiful, it’s very cozy almost feels like a ski lodge inside. It’s very clean & smells good. I love all the art displayed on the walls.

Clean room, comfortable bed, reasonably priced, and super friendly staff. No stains on couch, chair nor on carpet. Will stay there again if I need lodging.
Great location in a beautiful Maine lodge setting on a lake. Wonderful people running the lodge. Definitely a Maine experience. Great place to relax.
Tented lodges at the seaside, comfortable beds and a bathroom cabinet in the tent. also a oven for woodfire in the tent.
