This Helen, Georgia lodge is located in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is 11 minutes’ drive from Anna Ruby Falls. Guests can canoe, paddle-board, and kayak across Unicoi Lake. Excellent hotel in an excellent location. A few miles from downtown Helen Ga. Hiking trails near by. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Friendly reception staff. Very knowledgeable check out staff, knew all about the surrounding area.

Situated in McRae, Little Ocmulgee State Park and Lodge features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes and a restaurant. The place is great but unfortunately I was there just for a night on a business trip. The team was great and everything in the place was over the expectations. The local is most probably visited by local people and however I felt welcome, being a foreigner. Nice people, great place, excellent breakfast.
