What I liked best is the location in a valley next to a river with forest all around. Brian's Mum is a great cook! Brian was very helpful with precise directions for getting there, great recommendations for day trips and how to arrange next steps for our journey onwards. It was such a pleasure to stay there!

Comfortable and big bed (European standards), very big room, everything is clean. Nice breakfast. Wifi works well. Very quiet area. Not many food options around, but there is a nice restaurant with good ramen.

Situated in Pa-leng, Shansu's Homestay features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. Next to a beautiful river, in the middle of nature - we fell asleep to the sounds of the waterfall. The hosts were lovely, gave us a heartfelt welcome and took care of all our needs. They are part of the taiwanese indigenous people called Atayal, and love music. The room was spacious and comfortable.
