Monkey Mansion - Jungalows & Tours is located 900 metres from Khao Sok National Park. It features a private garden with plenty of plants. Mountain views can be enjoyed from the terrace. The rooms are open to the outside world, but if you're not keeping the door open 24/7 you won't have to worry. We visited in June, and I am a mosquito magnet, and I didn't get bitten once in the room. The mosquito net does the job, but just to be sure we used hair clips to secure it even further. We didn't need a fan at night either, the room never got too hot even when it was hot outside. Also, simply put, the rooms are absolutely to die for. As seen in my attached photos/videos. We audibly gasped when we opened the door. Nearby activities: This is endless! We did the One Day Boat Trip, Full Day Hike, Night Safari and the Cooking Class. This isn't even scratching the surface on what you can do! They have more info on all of the activities they offer on their website, and in a handy folder at their reception desk. Food & drinks: We only ate outside of the resort when we were taking part in the activities we planned, we ate every meal in the comfort of the resort. The menu is diverse, the food was filling and flavourful, so much so that my partner had to run in and thank the chef on day 2! Noteworthy details: The staff were absolutely fabulous, and so generous to us every hour of every day. Bastian and his team run a fantastic getaway, and we're glad we got to know you all. We wouldn t stay anywhere else in Khao Sok. Also, the kittens running around made every day so much more fun! Please pet them for me if you visit!!

Great food at restaurant. Recommend being there with a car to be able to get to places outside, but it is also possible to use taxi.

The location is central in koh phangan, but you must have a scooter to actually get to places.
