Jan is a complete gentleman. We don’t even speak the same language, but he made me feel at home. Jan made me breakfast the day the restaurant was closed.

Chalupa pod lipami is situated only 1 km from a picturesque village of Terchová and 5 km from the Vratna Free Time Zone. Very nice accommodation for a reasonable price. Very close to Terchová. It has a free parking in the garden and the owner is very kind and helpful. It was the best accommodation we had in this price range. There is a bus stop, petrol station and a shop and a machine for fresh goat milk just beside the house. But in overall 10/10.

Wellness drevenica Hájenka Zázrivá has river views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Zázrivá, 28 km from Orava Castle. The accommodation features a hot tub and a sauna. It was great to stay in this refurbished historical house in the beautiful region of Mala Fatra. The living room and dining room were very comfortable, including a fireplace. We took the paid option to get access to the jacuzzi and sauna- definitely worth it! There was a nice balcony and a pleasant outdoor area as well. The kitchen was also very well-equipped. There are a couple of restaurants and shops in the village, and much more in the nearby Zazriva. The hosts were very nice and helpful, we were welcomed with some delicious local cheese!

I can definitely recommend staying in Chata Terchová for even 6-8 people, including kids. Good location, close to hiking trails. Clean house, really good equipped kitchen and barbecue area. Our host was really nice and helpful. He was waiting for us so we could meet right on time. Easy check-in and check-out. Absolutely good choice!

Offering barbecue facilities and garden view, Chata pod Rozsutcom is set in Terchová, 40 km from Likava Castle and 41 km from Lietava Castle. The lovely wooden cottage was comfortable and very cosy. Location was amazing, in the heart of the national park, out of traffic, crowds and noise. Pure nature.
