Vieira do Minho
The lodge offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. A fridge, a microwave and minibar are also featured, as well as a coffee machine. Everything was perfect. We were in December, we were worried about the temperature but completely unnecessarily - the fireplace in the suite heated the whole cabin quickly, adding a romantic, cozy atmosphere. Breakfast served in the morning at the door - bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, fresh juice. The whole cabin very clean, the bed very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners were very nice and helpful, they responded promptly in case of problems. We had a temporary power outage, we called and immediately the problem was solved. We felt special and thank you very much for that. The whole stay allowed us to get away from reality for a while. We will definitely return, and recommend to everyone.

Convenience - both location and the range of services provided in advance by the host. We booked the breakfast for our first day and that was very convenient for our toddlers and elderlies. On our second day we booked a babysitter for our toddlers through the link provided, so we were able to visit the port lodges.

A true 5-star experience on a magnificent estate above the Douro, a former winery with a handful of luxurious lodges with breathtaking views scattered amid the vineyards. Warm, attentive, personal service. Excellent restaurant with top-notch Ventozelo winelist. Highly, highly recommended.
What a hotel! A must stay when in Porto and we preferred staying on the Gaia side. Literally right next to port lodges and walkable to everything. It was like the Ritz Carlton with Marriot prices. We ate at the Yeatman restaurant which was the best meal of my life. Absolutely loved this place and will be returning.

A great location, close enough to all the port lodges and the riverside restaurants etc but just beyond the noise of the latter. Staff were fabulous, a blend of non-obsequious service, with great knowledge and a can do attitude.

The location is excellent if you want to spend time amongst the historic Port lodges and surrounding area. The apartments were clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. Excellent value for money!
