I had a fantastic stay here. The hosts were super friendly and provided recommendations for activities in the area. The garden was lovely with a great pool. The private setting offered a peaceful experience surrounded by beautiful nature.

A true 5-star experience on a magnificent estate above the Douro, a former winery with a handful of luxurious lodges with breathtaking views scattered amid the vineyards. Warm, attentive, personal service. Excellent restaurant with top-notch Ventozelo winelist. Highly, highly recommended.
Amazing property, in a remote area in the middle of the vineyards. Attentive and caring staff, delicious food and very relaxing atmosphere.
nice room, shower and pool area. the receptionist was great and made reservations for us at the Fonseca port lodge and some restaurants.
The guesthouse is set in a beautiful old house with a view that is totally out of this world!! Sadly, we only had one night there and could have definitely done with another night or two to chill by the pool, take in the breathtaking scenery and visit a few wineries. The guesthouse does have a curfew which we found out when we were late back from dinner but the receptionist was very good about it and it's to be understood in remote areas like this. Hope to return some day.
Friendly, clean lodgings an good breakfast, a pleasant lodging to enjoy the surrounding Douro. Also Rocky, the unit of a dog at the entrance is an exceptional cuddler.
