Clean and very beautiful hotel in a quiet and safe vicinity with two absolutely adorable host. Products and food are regional and home made. They helped us planning activities, getting bicycles and taxis. Gluten free diet was no problem at all. Would definitely recommend 100% and come again!

Located in Salir, Casa da Mae offers accommodation with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. The location was the only thing we didn’t like. It’s really in the middle of nowhere. Very peaceful and would be lovely if we went for that kind of holiday but otherwise it’s not very close to any shops restaurants etc and if u stay here I would highly recommend a car. The views are so beautiful though and the property itself is immaculate

There are dogs and goats and turtles. The pool was beautiful. The apartment clean. All the guests were Portuguese so you can escape the Brits here! You will need a car if staying here as it is off the beaten tracks but only 5 minute drive to town.
