I rarely leave 10/10 ratings, and I did feel the price is a bit high for what you get, but my wife and I really loved it. The natural pool and mini-beach is truly unique and wonderful—the photos here don't do it justice. Tons of frogs to view and listen to (must be very fun for kids). The room itself was very comfortable with a large deck. Very tasteful decoration. The staff was fantastic, as was the large, healthy breakfast. Perfect location to explore the region, especially the many world class (yet nearly empty) beaches nearby.
Vila Viçosa
Featuring garden views, Monte dos Cordeiros in Vila Viçosa features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Wonderful peaceful location, we were staying in one of the two lodges with stunning views. So calm! . Breakfast was lovely. The staff is very friendly. Perfect place I recommend highly.
Borba
Featuring free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool, and a garden, Herdade do Burrazeiro features accommodation in Borba with free WiFi and mountain views. Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, fishing and table tennis. Our first time stay at a farm. Truly enjoyed the place. Could have spent another day . Perfect place for family with kids and up for a bit of adventure. The host Isabel was always available. She too lives at the farm.

Excellent B&B ! Everything you could wish for in a B&B experience : fine room (ours was on the ground floor) with a spacious bed and ample storage room. Perfect bathroom with a great shower and an impeccable host (or his sister) serving a great breakfast. Definitely a lodging to return to.
Amazing panoramic view across the vineyard. A lovely place to relax and do wine tasting. A remote area so not much in the vicinity apart from the beautiful countryside.

Sweet, neat, private lodging. Loved the outdoor area. Was very comfortable and great location
Quiet lodge in the middle of the woods but close to everything (<20min). Not a hotel (which is clearly stated on their website) so don't expect amenities or services, just a clean small 1bedroom apartment with a balcony. And the road, despite being dirt, is very doable and quick, not an issue to me. Lastly, mosquitos did not bother me at all, they only come at night, and it's common in the region. I had dinner at Quinta da Comporta, a fancy hotel, and was eaten by bugs when the sun came down.

Great location for peace and quiet, surrounded by pine trees. Off season prices were not too expensive. Bed was comfortable. Lodges were well equipped, comfortable and clean.
