Friendly and helpful staff. Nice surprises like wood for a fire pit (marshmallows!) as well as supplies for barbecue were provided. Quiet, comfy rooms. Surprisingly great for kids. Great base for Huaca de la Luna.

With pool views, Villa Hospedaje Chanchan Cultural Lodge is situated in Trujillo and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. This was such a great little place! Very quiet, cozy, comfortable. Possibly my favorite place that I stayed in all of my 3 month stay. Nestled just outside of Trujillo - but great public transportation to get right downtown to the Plaza de Armas. If you are interested in checking out the amazing Chan Chan ruins - this is a perfect location to stay.
