Eco Quechua Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge offering private balconies with river and mountain views. Guests can take canopy, coffee, water falls, hot springs and hiking excursions. What a beautiful little piece of paradise! Nestled in the mountains, away from all, right on the banks of the Urubamba, whose soothing flow you can hear all through the night. The staff are very courteous, letting us check in several hours early and helping us to make arrangements with taxi drivers etc. as we didn't speak much Spanish. There's an awesome, very cute Rottweiler called Ukuku who keeps wanting to play fetch as well:)

What a stunning place to know as your home in a magical area in the mountain. The family are beautiful, and very wise. They have a sacred connection with the land and kindly share teachings of the history and traditional practices, music and pottery. The facilities are perfect for the price. A comfortable bed hot shower and kitchen with nice steel cooking pots. Fancy staying in tranquility in the mountains with a shop selling all organic groceries just a few minutes away. This is the place to come!

The Lodge is in a beautiful quiet location with great mountain views. It’s probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in, and the room was spacious with a very nice shower. Cesar and the rest of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We felt like VIPs the entire time!

Claudia’s cooking was equally remarkable—each meal was a masterpiece filled with love and flavor. And, of course, we can’t forget Tupac, their adorable and friendly llama. Hugging him was such a unique and heartwarming experience! The lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and cultural immersion. To top it off, Rodi is beginning to organize Inca Trail tours with a big focus on ensuring porters are treated with the utmost care and respect. If you’re looking to explore one of the most unique places on Earth while supporting ethical practices, this is the place to start. We couldn’t recommend Spirit of the River Lodge more highly. Located in Quince Mil, Kuporo lodge provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Some units also have a kitchen equipped with a fridge. Everything was amazing : the lodge, the staff, the beds. I can only recommend Kuporo Lodge.

The location, the food, the staff the activities. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. A special thanks to Bryan and Alan for being so welcoming & helpful throughout. Located 21 km from Bus Station, Casafranca provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. This property exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It appeared even more spacious and inviting than the photos suggested. During our six-night stay, we felt incredibly comfortable, almost as if we were at a 5-star resort. We intentionally chose this location for its proximity to Ollantaytambo while offering a peaceful escape from the town center. We even enjoyed a scenic walk to the Ollantaytambo citadel one morning. Vanessa was an exceptional host, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She went above and beyond, offering a complimentary drive to the train station on our Machu Picchu excursion and even offering a return pickup. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, eggs, bread, and more. We did have to request smaller portions after the first day as the initial servings were quite generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place to other travelers.
