Wow, this accommodation blew us away! Pierre and Manon who are running this property with a lot of LOVE are incredible people worthy of admiration! They bought a house with a good amount of land around it and have constructed several cabins, a yoga deck, a restaurant and a boat house over the last few years. Ataraxia has its own pier, so boatmen will easily take you there from Isla Colon. At the back of the property, there is a nature reserve, a jungle with so many treasures! We were able to spot the red frogs, caimans, a racoon, yellowtail birds, giant turquoise butterflies, turtles, giant ants, we rented a free kayak and paddled through the mangroves nearby, and we walked on several occasions to Old Bank, the main village on Isla Bastimentos, and once to Wizzard Beach. Manon also booked us a trip to Zapatilla (including sloth, dolphin and starfish spotting and snorkeling) and Pierre arranged our transportation to the airport. Several ideas for activities in the area conveniently presented in a booklet in the room (Zapatilla trip, Wizzard Beach hike, Red Frog & Polo Beach, bio-luminescence tour, etc.). Free kayaks and snorkeling gear available. If you are into botany and medicinal plants, you will have a lot to talk about with Pierre who planted so many of them around the property. Running a guesthouse in the middle of the jungle is a hard task, yet the couple somehow manage it and always keep smiling and interacting with guests at all times. Thank you very much, we will never forget our stay with you! You are a true inspiration! Be aware that: there is no hot water or AC and you cannot use a hairdrier, as the place runs on solar energy. There is wifi. Rooms are cleaned daily and are very spacious. Cold drinks available in the common fridge and option to have dinner. Tasty and creative breakfast included.

Everybody was super friendly and nice. The food was absolutely amazing and total worth the money. It was such a comfortable stay and we can recommend it to everybody.

New property with great remote location and very nice staff . Has everything you need . View from the room is great , close to all attractions, very nice design .

Located less than 1 km from Carenero Noreste Beach, Pure Roots offers a restaurant, a bar and accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Pure Roots is a magical place! You are in the jungle and see all kinds of birds and wildlife, but you still have all of your comforts, like a nice bed, a beautiful relaxing space with a deck and hammock, a clean bathroom and hot shower. Jen cooks amazing dishes and always has the coffee on when you arrive for breakfast. She accommodates your dietary needs and the food includes lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can even watch her machete a fresh coconut for you to drink from, to get an electrolyte boost! I stayed for 5 nights.

Featuring sea views, Casa Cayuco Eco-Adventure Lodge in Bocas del Toro features accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The tranquility of the place was wonderful. It's a 30 min or so boat ride from Bocas Town which is what we wanted since Bocas Town has turned into nothing but a party town with extremely loud music till 3-4 in the morning mid week thru the weekend. So it was wonderful. The staff were exceptional and friendly. Alondra went above and beyond for anything we needed. The food was amazing and fresh. They set up dinner each night on our patio for a nice quiet and intimate dinner. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

Great experience staying on a unique place very surrounded by beautifull nature...monkeys,frogs bats and much more amazing beach very tranquile in the área where the cabin is located.and the host is an excellente carpinter and hyman been always very interested in making your stay as best as possible.

Maxi and his wife were such lovely hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that we had all the info that we needed about the area, including access to the surfbreaks, which was very much appreciated. Lovely treehouses that were built with love and thought by the owners. Very eco-minded, which we support 100 percent. The cabin was suspended in the jungle in a very quiet location, yet close to the beaches, which were a 5 minute walk away. Every day we could hear the Howler monkeys in the distance and hear and see the wide variety of tropical birds. Listening to the sounds of nature was so peaceful. We loved our stay there!

Absolutely amazing property, nice garden, restaurant, breathtaking seaviews from bungalows and sounds of jungles. Ralaxing atmosphere, great facillities overall - kayaks and supboards available for free, wonderful place for suntaking and swimming in cristall clear sea. Dishes offered by Clarissa very tasty! Service unbelievable! We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute there, we would stay even longer there. The transfer from Bocas del Toras can be arranged by Clarissa, she is in contact with guests before arrival. We highly recommend to visit Nathylodge!

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Ecolodge Cabinas offers accommodation in Big Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon, this property uses solar panels. Quite and pastoral place. The vibe there is amazing. Far from the traffic of the village
