Oneroa
The lodge provides guests with a terrace, city views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. A microwave, a stovetop and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Beautiful cottage with idyllic views. Couldn’t be nicer.

Located in Oneroa in the Waiheke Island region and Little Oneroa Beach reachable within 300 metres, Waiheke Island Punga Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. It is located in a rustic location just off the main road. Less than 5 minutes from a beautiful beach, that had full faculties and a small selection of vendor food available, the pizza trailer was excellent. 10 minute walk to town and local bus stops within 300 meters of the property. The European Breakfast was excellent with homemade muffins. Also has an afternoon tea if your around the property, if not a small plate of sweets we're waiting in the room.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Delamore Lodge is heaven on Earth! It is one of the best and most private resorts we have ever stayed.

Everything! Super cozy, clean and friendly staff.
Breakfast and treats were super yummy and homemade. They had a great hot tub!

Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been given a free upgrade to one of the suites which had incredible views overlooking Oneroa! The suite was well equipped, tidy and clean and the bed was super comfortable. Tawa Lodge is in such a peaceful, beautiful location, very close to bus stops and only a 15 min leisurely walk into Oneroa. Highly recommend :)
Location wise -it is located nearby to the bus stop (Frank Street), which is convenient to get to the beaches, vineyard and brewery. It takes only 5mins to walk to the Little Oneroa Beach. The host- Diane is so wonderful, she got us heartful breakfast and afternoon tea with homemade muffin in the room on the balcony. Overall we love our stay at Punga Lodge :-)
Our host was great. She is an amazing cook and the morning and afternoon teas were superb. There was secure parking below the lodge. The lodge is close to beach and food outlets.
If I could give it 7 stars, I would. Dyan and Rob (who run the lodge) are amazing. Their hospitality is unmatched. Included is afternoon tea and breakfast for each day of your stay, which is homemade daily by Dyan. They really bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Will 100% be returning to Waiheke Island and specifically the Tawa or Punga Lodge again in the future.

All four of us loved the lodge. The views were stunning and the accommodation was extremely comfortable, with comfy beds, plenty of seating both indoors and out, and plentiful hot water. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and we appreciated the BBQ and made good use of it during our stay.
We loved the lodge and the staff, who demonstrated their nature of going above and beyond for each guest.
From the moment you arrive, you're treated like you're family, and yet, everything is still very professional. The lodge gives you a real familiar warmth that's somehow balanced with the escapism offered by getting away from it all. It's really a place of contradictions because I was both extremely relaxed and constantly on the move, checking out the long hiking trails and little towns. Hope to make it back someday, if only for the fresh baked goods every morning!
The place does not have breakfast. One has to arrive prepared. No problem as you informed. Lovely open spaced with quality furnishing lodging with stunning view from above the village on the fabolous beach of Onetangi.
The location is excellent- really close to Little Oneroa and the village. The staff at Punga Lodge are fantastic and very warm and welcoming. We had a great time.
