Room was really spacious, very clean, nice showers, bed really comfortable, host very friendly, breakfast was amazing. A car is required, but the accommodation is nicely located in the forest. Definitely coming back
The suite was well presented, consisting of a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. we were provided 4 super comfortable beds, 1 king and 3 singles which was perfect for our 5-person family. Auto lodge staff were very accommodating considering the last-minute nature of our booking (unexpected) it was handy to all amenities which was great, as it was our first time in New Plymouth.
Second stay at auto lodge with my dog. Room was in desperate need of a refurbish- chipped tiles in bathroom etc, last stay I had a super nice room. However it was clean, comfortable and warm! Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic.
The service was great. Traveling to the lodge we ordered a pull out bed and on arrival it was already set up and was comfy
I stayed at Broadway lodge over the Easter weekend and would highly recommend this place. There is an old New Zealand aesthetic to Stratford which makes the atmosphere really enjoyable. The apartment was clean, staff were respectful, facilities were well equipped (tv, cleaning liquid, towels), close to local shops in Stratford and the Egmont National park. Everything was available to make my stay enjoyable, and having a base to adventure in Taranaki was fantastic.

I always enjoy staying at Pukekura Lodge, its clean, tidy and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Number one on my list for work travel in New Plymouth - value for money. Highly recommend.
Pukekura Motor Lodge was one of the best accommodation facility that we have stayed in for a very long time. It was exceptionally clean, the facilities were wonderful and the location was superb. We took the time to stop and thank the gentleman who met us at reception. Well done Pukekura Motor Lodge!!
Very friendly. Handy laundry. Comfortable and clean lodge. Excellent value.
Rooms were really clean and well maintained, bed was comfy. We stayed in a studio apartment and they were located at rear of property and were quiet. The lodge is located on quite a busy street so I am not sure if front units would be affected by road noise which is minimal at night but obvious worker commute and local high schools made it quite busy from 7am onwards.
Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were more than accommodating to my early check in request too! Definitely recommend BKs Egmont Motor Lodge!
