We stayed three nights and ate dinner there each night and were never disappointed, great selections too. Chris was more than willing to provide a lift somewhere when needed. We highly recommend a stay at Church Hill.

Overlooking Halfmoon Bay and the islands of the Foveaux Straits, Kowhai Lane Lodge is just 5 minutes’ walk from the waterfront. A 4-hour Ulva Island tour is included in your accommodation rate. We loved our stay on Stewart Island, staying at Kowhai Lane with Peter and Iris. The accommodation was fantastic in every way and the Information supplied by our hosts was comprehensive, their knowledge of the island and it's history was shared with great enthusiasm. Our visit to Ulva Island with Peter as our guide was a highlight of our stay. Great friendly hosts!
