Hopewell Lodge is in the heart of the Kenepuru Sound and is easily accessed by water taxi from Havelock and Te Mahia Bay. Lynley as a host will assist with anything and Tui will guard you from possums. On-site hot tub, glowworms, hiking trails, golf course nearby - just few of maaany attractions there. Take a warter taxi from Havelock, definitely worth it.

We loved everything about our stay at Lochmara Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.
