How to not love this place? Pramesh and Noémie are incredible hosts. You can feel the love they put in their place, it's all beautiful, carefully designed with a lot of attention. The rooms are amazing and very comfortable, the restaurant/bar is cozy, the food delicious and they also have a yoga shala/hangout spot. You can also chill by the outdoor fire pit in the evening and chat with other guests. There are only 3 rooms, so it's very quiet, intimate but social. Pramesh is absolutely passionate about the jungle, the animals, his work (he organises great safaris! Recommended!) and his community. He has a very ethical vision and it's nice chatting with him about how he's seeing the area evolve.
All in all, it has been a pretty unique stay, I'd only have wished to stay longer. I'd love to come back to Bardiya one day, mostly to spend time here again :)

The staff was very nice and gentle and provided us with lots of help. The lodge is very clean and its gardens gave us the feeling we were inside the jungle. The balcony view of the park is simply stunning and the lodge is very close to the park's entrance. Food always included local vegetables and it was very well cooked. Its location is one of the key features as you can go to the village in a few minutes but you are also very close to the park and you can hear the animals at night and sight them during the day from the balcony and the view tower.
The room had a fan and it was enough to keep us cool and sleep well throughout the night even with the hot temperatures outside.
We have done jungle walks, jeep safari and rafting. The guides were very experienced and respectful of nature and wildlife and made the experiences wonderful. Madhu, the lodge manager, is an incredible person.

The resort was great, affordable, clean, extremely kind and friendly staff and good food. What more should i ask? Haha.
I'm pretty sure we will be staying there next time we are in bardiya.
Mr B’s place was absolute brilliant. The family are all so lovely and friendly and his 2 sons running the trips are fantastic guides. The food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend. We were so lucky to spot tigers; elephants, and rhinos over our 2 day safari.
We had a fabulous stay at Bardia Eco-Lodge. The rooms and gardens are lovely. This is a true rustic eco-lodge blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lodge is walking distance to both the Elephant Breeding Centre and the main entrance of Bardia National Park. Our host Madhu, is a certified safari guide and we enjoyed an exceptional day on private jeep safari with him and a driver seeing a tiger, rhinos, many deer and monkeys.
I had a fantastic time staying with Nanu, Kali and children! They were so welcoming to their home and hospitable once you were there. My stay was made up of an amazing walking safari (but they can also do keep), delicious food cooked by Kali (possible the best dal bhat I have had) - including a mo mo cooking class - and lots of fun relaxing at their house and playing with the children. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome and inclusive experience!
Amazing experience very friendly family and the safari guide lived up to my expectations with tiger rhino and elephant.
If you would like to stay in a true Nepali homestay, Nanu and Kali’s place is amazing. They offer a very pure, yet comfortable experience. They have two rooms for rent, and live on the property themselves. Nanu will be able to guide you on hiking safari’s as well for a good price. Apart from that the food is amazing. :) Would 100% recommend anybody looking for a Nepali experience to go here!
Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.
Baba, Prakesh and Dave are great and the safaris were fabulous. Saw three tigers!
One of the best experiences with wild planet. I plan to to stay few day at end I forget to leave this place. I had lots of safari with baba and prakash they are really professional in there job. Place made with eco friendly made with local style cottage. . Best food I had . One thing I like must if they never sell water bottles they have filter water . They try lots to reducing plastic thing. Sure I will come again.
Beautiful Lodge with great friendly staff. Mr B's sons are also nature guides that do wonderful Safaris in the park. The food is delicious as well. Highly recommended place!
My stay at Jungle Base Camp was exceptional. Hukum is an amazing host. He will do his best to make your stay great (including refilling the fridge with beers as many times as needed...). You will get to share his daily life with his family. I had great conversation with him, and learnt a lot about the reality of Nepal while I was there. The lodges are simple but with all what is needed. The food is all organic and homemade, made with what grow in the garden. I recommend this place 100%.
