With lake views, Finca Mystica is situated in Ometepe and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Ow my goodness, the best dorm everrrr. Double comfortable beds with net, your own fan and it’s cool at night. I didn’t sleep very well until I slept here and the other guest all day the same. We call this place a vacation within your vacation. Beautiful jungle with many monkeys, lovely dogs and cat, everything is clean, cozy, yoga dome, l swimming pool to cool of, 10 min walk to the beach for an amazing sunset and AMAZING FOOD and staff. It’s a Mystical Dream.
Popoyo
Located in Popoyo in the Rivas Region region, with Popoyo Beach nearby, Wild Waves Surf-House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.
A private beach area can be found at the lodge, along with a garden.
The breakfast was simple and sweet. The owner Gianni is very cool and always do his best to make sure that we feel comfortable.

We liked it has a great location near the CR-NIC border in front of Cocibolca Lake, easy to find. The owner's warm welcome made us feel great and at home. It is an eco-lodge, powered by the sun and wind, so A/C is not available, but the fresh air by the night almost does it.

The cottage was great and clean. Close 5 minute walk to the beach and the staff was very nice. It had a fridge and cooking supplies, which helped a lot.

Stunning eco lodge that felt more like a 5 star bungalows /
The eco lodge is right on Playa Hermosa beach. The food was good and the staff were great.
Staff were great, food at the hotel was good - especially the local honey! The staff were more than happy to organise taxis (which are generally expensive on Ometepe regardless) for you. The pool has incredible views of the volcano, and the main lodge was incredibly relaxing with a well stocked and reasonably priced bar
The most beautiful view of sunset from the bar/ restaurant area or your own balcony. The hammock by the cabaña was perfect for relaxing. We loved the outdoor shower. The breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Easy to book tours/ rent ATV from reception (company will bring an ATV up to the lodge for you). The sounds of the birds and howler monkeys around the Cabanas.
I can’t imagine a more stunning view on Ometepe. We had a bungalow with view of the Volcano from the bed in a lodge style bungalow. The bathroom is open air and you can shower also with this view. Amazing! The food in the restaurant was really great and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
This is one of my favorite lodgings during my long travels through Central America. The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.
Stunning views from both the lodges and the communal areas. Relaxed laid back feel. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Lovely setting for pool. Small village of Balgue down the hill was cute, with a lovey local cafe.

This is an amazing forest eco lodge that we couldn't but extend out stay few more nights, It is one of the best eco lodges we stayed in during our travels. The breakfast is amazing and the all day free fruit basket and coconuts are just an added bonus. It is clean, quite and peaceful. Loved that eco lodge as it is in the nicest part of the island, Balgue. The lady that runs the lodge also spend her days running and volunteering teaching locals English at the school on the property, Highly recommend this place, do not hesitate.
