Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is located 20 km north of Windhoek. Surrounded by African savannah in a growing suburb of the capital, the lodge offers a garden, outdoor pool and restaurant. A little way from the main road , so no noise at all. A very in the real bush experience (but actually close enough to Windhoek if necessary to visit). Beautiful gardens with two inquisitive but not aggressive half grown ostrich chicks in a large fenced area. Dining Area, gorgeous a real lodge experience with truly excellent food.

With Alte Feste Museum reachable in 10 km, River Crossing Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge and a terrace. Free WiFi is provided. Location is excellent, rooms are peaceful and well equipped. We enjoyed the tranquility of the area.

Auas Safari Lodge is situated 45 km outside of Windhoek. Guests can explore the wildlife surrounding them on daily game drives, guided hiking trails and bird watching expeditions. The place was stunning. A little Oasis in the desert. Staff was super friendly and attentive. My room was comfortable with a super large and comfy bed. I slept like a dream with no noise, just nature at my door. The food was excellent, although I was not that into the game meaty dishes served. Just my personal preference. The game drive was so informative, but I wish I could have been on more than one occasion. The shuttle service was well appreciated. Thanks to Petrus and all staff for making my stay memorable and enjoyable. Ps....I am going to miss my Virgin Mogito's. Till next time as I will be back.
